National Redbone Coonhound Association

The weather here went from a warm start of winter to the Tundra of February. They said February was the third coldest month in Indiana history. I tried to look up the facts but didn't get nowhere. I heard them say the temperature but wanted to be sure it was correct. As short as it was the weather was on the cold side. We got hit with a good storm. It wouldn't have been bad but the winds was like at 30 mph. There were spots it was drifted high an other places nothing. The lowest it got was -8. Luck would have it I was working out in it most of the time at work. My tow oldest dogs got to spend time in the basement.

National Days is getting closer. LaGrange IN is the place to be come July 5,6, & 7.

Southern National results.

Joe Maitland emailed what's going on with the Hall of Fame committee. They are working on a minimum rating system for the potential nominees as well as a separate system for the dogs that fit into the foundation stock. They are taking all things into consideration so that when Days roll around it can be presented to the board. So it can be a respectable plan to consider to adopt. It sounds like it has been a lot of work, thoughts, an so on. So if you see Joe Maitland or Kelly Hyde just think about saying thanks for the time an effort that you have put into the Hall Of Fame committee. Here I said my thanks.
