Katherine Bolin is the Horizon winner. She has been writing some in Bloodlines
as a youth writer. That just started this year.
Well the new President is Bob Rose Vice President Dewayne Brough Sec/Tres Kitty
Brough an Paul Osborne Hunt Chairman.
The Hunt Chairman an Secretary will have copies of the hunts scheduled. As you
know Paul lives in Canada an there are times the mail is slow. That way one or
another will know if contacted.
The meeting at Autumn Oaks consisted old business. This was the year for new
rules or changes. There was also talk of having frozen semen available for the
membership. A committee is looking into this. The response back form the Horizon
was very small. One likely got lost in the mail system. A side note on this. For
an extra 75 or 80 cents. You can get a delivery confirmation. It's like the
package companies cause you can track it online. It's good to ask the Postmaster
when you should check on it to see if it has been delivered. I have used it.
Just recently was the first time I had one get lost. So I'm gonna resend it.
Otherwise I have to fill out paperwork an don't think it should be done. Not
worth the time.
Mike an Johnny Wright, Fireballs Jackpot Jackie,
place fourth at the UKC World Hunt.
I sometimes wonder about Indiana's Department of Transportation. I think for the
second year I have seen those road construction signs. The orange has faded.
Which makes me wonder how long they have been there an why aren't they gone ? I
disregarded them this year. I didn't see any equipment or workers. I have taken
the same route to Autumn Oaks for past few years. My route is the scenic way. It
takes me right into where I need to go.
The weather is kinda strange as it seems to be hot then get cool. As I write
this week they are calling for one day in the 80's. We had some rain but I
couldn't tell as I was out the other night. It was wet but the ground was still
hard.
I have been doing some traveling on my job. The coon seem to be moving. One
other thing I have seen that I don't care for, skunks. When I head out to work
is the time I seen them. One not far from home. I still think that was a coon
the other night down bye the creek at dusk. I took the dog to see but I haven't
had luck with that. Whether we want to admit it or not those dogs have a mind of
their own. Things don't always go the way planned.
Remember the deadline for the Redbook is December first. Send ads to Jean Ramm.
Once again please check your information to make sure its up to date.
