By the time this is out the time will have changed here in IN. It was voted on
last year an is the first time this state has changed time. Most will be on
EST. It seems like there are a few counties that are on different zones. For
me I don't see how time changes. There are still 24 hours in a day till they
decide to change that.

Welcome to new member Mr. Audrey Poe.
I got an email from Sandy Seaton Sallee. If you recognize the name she wrote
for the Montana State Houndsman for 12 years. She sent a couple of photos. I
did return her email. Knowing how I am. Seeing that cat in the tree in that
Montana setting got me going. I was ready to get on a plane a go run a
cat. They take a 4wd truck to cover as much ground providing there is snow. A
lot of snow they check tracks with a snowmobile. No snow a horse. OK I'm back,
just something about me riding a horse in those mountains. They freecast on the
edge of the wilderness an its a lot of walking for the whole day. Rarely a
mountain is taken. She said Scott taped her in a tree with a female an a
kitten. As she was in the tree here came the female. Luck would have it the
loin jumped out before Sandy had a heart attack. The tracking collars have been
a wonderful invention for them. So far they haven't had a lost dog overnight.
I thought if my hound would tree all night. That's what is supposed to happen
in my way of thinking. She tells they have had dogs treed a week. They would
follow the tracks till they found the dogs. The dogs would be mad because the
cat jumped out a was on the race again. They start the hounds out on coons to
build confidence. She says when the dogs see that 150 tomcat they really go
nuts an the eyes get real wide. The wolves have put a dent in the loin
population though in their area. Bobcats are tricky as they will tap trees,
backtrack an do whatever it takes. Not to mention the high mountain cliffs.
Maybe before they lay me away. I'll have adventured to Montana again but this
time it was a cat hunt. No chasing of the big bulls. Well, then again that's
another thought.
Its always good to hear from folks around the country. The different aspects of
how those redbones are used. Because no all the time are they chasing that
masked bandit. Yes, the there are all kinds of terrain in this country as I've
seen a good share of it. So Folks, keep on sending me the pictures an any
info. I always need it.
I got my dues up to date. How do you stand? Is all your information correct?
Checklist address, phone number, email. Kitty Brough 9068 W. Duff Washa Rd.

So its only took me like 2 or 3 years. What do you think of these Kennel Clubs
that have those message boards? I have been on UKC's a little. Learning how it
all works. Checked out PKC but ain't sure if I can get into it. I'm not to
sure of it yet. As for AKC I haven't looked for sure. I know it has the most
complex of the clubs. Least that's my thinking. I'm not much into AKC or PKC.
